Brighter, Whiter Smile

What is Whitening?

Whitening is a procedure which is designed to lighten the color of your teeth. Significant lightening can be achieved in the vast majority of cases. There are variables, such as the type of discoloration that affects your teeth, the degree to which you follow our instructions, the overall condition of your teeth, etc., that affect the outcome of treatment.

What do you use to whiten smiles?

If you’re like most of Dr. Kuntz’s patients, you want a simple yet effective method for whitening your smile. Smile Beautiful Dentistry uses ZOOM! a revolutionary tooth whitening procedure.

A state-of-the-art in-office whitening system, ZOOM! dramatically whitens your teeth in about one hour, making it the perfect choice for the busy individual. The procedure is simple. It begins with a short preparation to isolate your lips and gums. We will apply the ZOOM! Whitening Gel, this is activated by a specially designed light.

Teeth typically become at least six to ten shades whiter, sometimes more. A five-minute fluoride treatment completes the procedure. You’ll be amazed with the results. In most cases, teeth get even whiter the first few days after the procedure.

How long will the results last?

Your bright, new smile should last a very long time, sometimes years before a touch-up is required. Heavy consumption of coffee, tea, colas or other staining agents may accelerate re-staining of your teeth, so you may choose to apply a touch-up application for a session or two.

We take impressions of your teeth and make clear custom trays. We provide you with a special bleaching agent that you put into the clear, almost invisible trays. With only a few hours of wear per day, our special bleaching agent bubbles stains right out of your enamel in a very short time without altering tooth structure or existing dental work in any way. When your teeth reach the brightness you want, only occasional treatment is needed to maintain your new smile.
